The Jalsa Salana Platinum Jubilee has kicked off on December 20, 2024, with a thought-inspiring lecture by Mukarram AbdulJaleel AbdulAzeez who shed light on the role of the Promised Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), as a manifestation of Allah’s mercy for humanity.
Citing Suratul Jum’ah verses 4-5, Mukarram AbdulJaleel emphasized that the Promised Messiah’s advent was a divine blessing, bestowed upon whomsoever Allah pleased. He clarified that none is better equipped to fulfill this reformation than the man raised by Allah for this purpose.
The Islamic clergy also highlighted testimonials from renowned scholars, including Sir Allama Iqbal, Pakistan’s national poet, who said: “In Punjab we see a pristine and pure manifestation of Islamic character in the form of a group that we call Qadiani Sect.”
Allama Niaz Fatehpuri, another prominent scholar, also acknowledged the Promised Messiah’s pivotal role in reviving Islamic morality and ethics, stating: “There is no denying of the fact that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani has surely rekindled the morality and ethics of Islam and created a community whose life can certainly be considered to be a reflection of the character of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw).”
Concluding his lecture, Mukarram AbdulJaleel shared the Promised Messiah’s words, emphasizing his mission to reform people of all faiths – Muslims, Christians, and Hindus. The Promised Messiah said: “Finally, let it be clear that my advent in the present age is not for the reformation of the Muslims alone, but I have come to reform the people of all the three religions: Muslims, Christians and Hindus. Just as God has appointed me the Promised Messiah for the Muslims and Christians, so am I the Avatar for the Hindus.”
This enlightening lecture underscored the significance of the Promised Messiah’s mission, highlighting his role in replicating Allah’s mercy and guidance for all humanity.
