The Older, the Better
This we can say about our Jalsa:
Year in, year out,
There’s a development to marvel about.
That lush green, empty space,
Transforming into a megacity
In a matter of days,
Testifies to the strength in our unity.
A gathering of like minds,
Where we feed our souls and minds
With growth and positivity
To enhance productivity.
This is our heritage,
Close to our hearts so dearly,
An experience we ever envisage,
Which makes us anticipate yearly.
Thousands of faithful
From across the nation,
Happy and grateful
To be part of the occasion.
Glorifying His eminence
Over our lives,
And His benevolence
That has made us thrive.
A quick visit to the past
Details the efforts of our heroes,
Whom we can’t forget so fast—
These are those who started from zero.
Facing opposition with bravery,
And maneuvering cleverly,
As if it were a melee,
And today we celebrate a platinum jubilee.
Their efforts we appreciate,
Their resilience we emulate.
This is why we participate—
In order to celebrate.
