Ahmadiyya Convention Hosts Mass Wedding

The 70th Anniversary Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria witnessed a joyous highlight as 20 couples tied the knot in a mass marriage ceremony on Saturday, December 21, 2024. This event underscored the community’s dedication to promoting strong family values in line with Islamic teachings.

Presiding over the holy solemnization, renowned Islamic scholar Mu’allim Qasim Oyekola shared heartfelt advice with the newlyweds. He emphasized the significance of mutual respect, understanding, and patience as essential pillars of a successful marital journey. Following his address, he offered special prayers for the couples, invoking blessings and guidance for their union.

A profound moment occurred as the couples formally met their new family members, symbolizing the start of new familial bonds and shared responsibilities. This tradition highlighted the communal spirit and support that the Ahmadiyya community fosters among its members.
