The Amir and Missionary-in-Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Ghana, Maulana Mohammed bin Salih has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Nigerian Jama’at during his first visit to the co-African community, marking the occasion of its Jalsa (annual conference) Platinum Jubilee held between 20th and 22nd December 2024.

In his remarks, Maulana Muhammad urged members of the Jama’at to embody the true essence of Islam through their actions, emphasizing the importance of leading an exemplary Islamic life. He said, “We must convey the message of Islam and live in a way that reflects its beauty,” stressing that a Muslim’s behavior should align with the teachings of Islam to inspire others.

To illustrate his point, the Amir shared a thought-provoking story of a tourist deeply moved by the teachings of Islam but disappointed by the behavior of some Muslims. This, he noted, serves as a reminder of the critical need for Muslims to live by their faith, ensuring that their conduct reflects the beauty of Islamic principles.

Maulana Muhammad further called for concerted efforts in Tabligh (propagation of Islam), emphasizing that the universal adoption of Islamic values could bring about peace and harmony in the world.

He concluded by encouraging attendees to become beacons of hope and light, showcasing the true spirit of Islam through their actions and inviting others to its peaceful teachings.
