Amir Ahmadiyya Nigeria Inspects Jamia Ahmadiyya Ahead of 70th Annual Jalsa Salana

On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, the Amir of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Nigeria, Alh. (Barr.) Alatoye Folorunso Azeez, conducted a comprehensive inspection of Jamia Ahmadiyya, the venue for the 70th Annual Jalsa Salana Platinum Jubilee. The inspection was aimed at ensuring the venue’s readiness to host thousands of participants for this landmark event.

During the inspection, the Amir, accompanied by senior officials, meticulously reviewed various departments, including the registration area, guest lodges, kitchen and abattoir, the water supply, among other units. At each point, he engaged with heads of departments and workers, offering guidance and emphasizing the importance of precision and hospitality. He praised the organizing committee for their dedication and expressed satisfaction with the level of preparedness.

The Amir underscored the need for volunteers to treat guests with the utmost respect and patience, aligning with the values of Jalsa Salana as a gathering of peace and spiritual growth. He concluded the tour by leading prayers for the success of the convention and all its activities.

The 70th Annual Jalsa Salana will take place from Friday, December 20, to Sunday, December 22, 2024, under the theme: “And We Have Sent Thee (Muhammad) Not But As a Mercy for All People.”

This event promises to inspire unity, spiritual upliftment, and a deeper connection to the teachings of Islam.
