The Amir Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria Barr. AbdulAzeez Alatoye has described Tabligh as the number one critical factor for Jama’at’s growth assessment.

Barrister Alatoye who spoke during the Tabligh Seminar organized for all the Nigerian missionaries of the Jama’at across present at this year’s Jalsa Salana called for deliberate steps to improve on the Jama’at’s tabligh and tarbiyya activities.

He said, “Huzur has assigned the Nigeria Jama’at with five crucial assignments, namely: Tabligh, Tarbiyya, Wasiyya, activation of Nizam-e-Jamaat, and Minaret International University.

“Tabligh and Tarbiyyah complement each other; no success in Tabligh can be realized without Tarbiyyah,” therefore, accentuating the essence of Tarbiyyah for optimal Tabligh success.

He noted that “Missionaries should be exemplary to their followers by sacrificing their quota from the little they possess”

Also in attendance during the Tabligh Seminar was the Naib Amir Tabligh/Tajneed, Alhaji Abdul-Lateef Busari, who implored the missionaries not to limit their Tabligh efforts only to lectures.

He said, “Lectures as a subset of the whole structure of Tabligh should be strategically organized; they should not dominate all the activities.”

The seminar was marked by an interactive session during which missionaries and those in attendance from different areas shared helpful tips among them, Missionary In-charge, Muballigh Adnan Tahir; Missionary In-charge Cameroon, Mulvi Abdul-Khalique Nayyar; former Amir Nigeria, Prof. Mashood Adenrele Fashola.
