By Oladejo Abdulbasit Ololade

Br. Abdulbasit Tijani Adewale, a distinguished alumnus of Federal University, Abeokuta, Ogun State, and former Vice President of the Ahmadi Muslim Students’ Association, Nigeria, has a remarkable story to share. His journey is a poignant reminder of the transformative power of prayer and devotion.

In 2016, he embarked on a spiritual odyssey, arriving at the Jalsa Salana venue a week prior to the program’s commencement. Under the guidance of Brother Miftaudeen, the former State Qaid of Oyo State, he learned a valuable lesson: “Whatever you do for Almighty Allah, you will be rewarded.” This wisdom resonated deeply with Br. Abdulbasit, inspiring him to make a heartfelt request.

With unwavering faith, Br. Abdulbasit prayed to Allah, seeking excellence in his academic pursuits, even before gaining admission. His supplications were answered in abundance. By the grace of God, he graduated with First Class honors in Mechatronics Engineering.

Br. Abdulbasit attributes his remarkable achievement to the power of prayer and the blessings of Allah. His story serves as a testament to the rewards of devotion, perseverance, and faith. May his journey inspire others to tap into the transformative power of prayer and worship.
