The Amir Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria , Alhaji Abdul Azeez Alatoye has charged volunteers at the 2023 Jalsa Salana to carry out their duties with the intention of truly serving the people.
Alhaji Alatoye said upholding the highest level of moral standard is essential for the volunteers who have decided to work for Allah’s cause.
The Amir who spoke during the inauguration and inspection of Jalsa Salana duties 2023 prior to the official commencement of the 69th Jalsa Salana Nigeria emphasized the need for volunteers and other participants to strive to get the best reward from Allah.
He said “Jalsa is a holy environment which should be devoid of all forms of indecency. Therefore, you should uphold the highest level of moral standards.
“The Volunteers should not feel they have more reward than the attendees, and neither should the attendees nurture a thought that they will be rewarded than the volunteers. Allah rewards efforts and we should all strive to get the best rewards”
The Amir reechoed Huzoor’s advise to Jalsa volunteers to always smile while discharging their duties
” Huzoor has advised that Volunteers of the Jalsa should always maintain a happy countenance – make sure you smile at all times and avoid any sort of harshness when engaging with the guests of the Promised Messiah”
The Ahmadiyya Nigeria head enjoined Volunteers to report any case of stubbornness by attendees to the appropriate authority.
“Do not act uncomfortably to any of the attendees” he said.
Also present during the inspection alongside the Amir was the Chairman, Jalsa Planning Committee Engr. Oluwa Kazeem, who expressed delight over the commitment of the volunteers.
