Jalsa Salana being an annual spiritual gathering of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, fostering unity, spiritual growth, acceptance of prayers and knowledge sharing among its members. Atfal IVC/Ijtema shares a common purpose. These gatherings provide a platform for spiritual enrichment, self-reflection, and connection with like-minded individuals, promoting a sense of belonging and shared values.
In the midst of a 7-day spiritual convention held at Monatan, Ibadan, Oyo State, a young man poured out his heart to Allah, seeking shelter – just a single room to call his own. Little did he know, his humble supplication would unlock a miracle of what he ordered versus what he got.
It was the year 2008, and he was attending the Atfal IVC/Ijtema. As he stood amidst his peers, he felt an overwhelming sense of longing. He yearned for a place to rest his head, a sanctuary to nurture his faith.
With sincerity, he prayed, “O Allah, grant me shelter, no matter how small, be it a room.” His words were whispered, but his intention was resolute.
Before the year drew to a close, Allah’s blessings manifested in unexpected ways. A single room, once a distant dream, became his reality. This experience ignited a conviction within him. He realized that faith knows no bounds, and Allah’s power is limitless.
Since then, his prayers have become bolder, his aspirations loftier. A lesson that abounds in this is that one should not underestimate the potency of prayer. Do not limit the power of God. For in the depths of humility and sincerity lies the key to unlocking miracles.
